Going East on a friday around 11a, got picked up pretty fast, all the way to Ottawa. Wide shoulder and straight line. Guy alone with a big backpack―Anonymous

The best spot for going West out of North Bay. There's a stop light and plenty of room to pull over. If you go down the road to the hospital, there's another light but it only turns red when a car is turning in or out of the hospital and there's less room to pull over. I hitched over a dozen times from this spot. Unfortunately, North Bay is not a good hitching town and I averaged over an hour wait.―Anonymous

Gave it a 3star as it was raining all night and there's just enough of an eave for me to nap where it's dry. Sign was for thunder bay and Winnipeg, I said it's good.. it's the route I want anyway. Unexpected as I was just eating when the guy pulled in front of me.―Atopilak
